OUR HISTORY:

From April 1995 through December of 1997, the New England organization was part of the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS) and members who joined either the NCCS or the regional organization (NECCS) belonged to both groups and received dual membership in the NCCS and the NECCS. NECCS incorporated on December 4, 1997 and obtained its own non-profit designation.

As of January 1, 1998, the national organization no longer shares dues with us nor gives automatic membership to NECCS members or members of any other regional group. NECCS is now an organizational member of NCCS and continues to work with them as well as with other health and cancer related organizations within New England.
