Wall of Fame...'Awards & Cancer Survivorship Celebration Luncheon 2013'

Thank you to our community, friends of NECCS, and our Mistress of Ceremonies, Candy O'Terry, who all helped to make our luncheon a success again this year.  Congratulations also to our outstanding award recipients for their important contributions to cancer survivorship.

The NECCS Awards & Cancer Survivorship Celebration Luncheon is a place to to encourage, support and publicly acknowledge the hard work, dedication, and many important contributions of individuals and organizations who work in the survivorship movement. NECCS has established awards which it bestows annually to selected nominated recipients during the luncheon.  The 2013 luncheon was held on Saturday, March 23rd, at the beautiful and historic Longfellow's Wayside Inn, Sudbury, MA.  This year's luncheon was dedicated in loving memory to Janice McGrath, former NECCS Executive Director and Board of Directors President.  Shown below is Janice's family: Jerry Noones (Janice's husband) and Donna Traut (Janice's sister) who accepted the NECCS award in her memory.
