News from NECCS!

Congratulations to our website drawing winners!

July  2010:  Thank you to our community for helping us to 'Go Green"!  In July we contacted our members with a request to check out our new website and confirm member contact information on-line (instead of using paper mailings). We also conducted a drawing where those members that participated were automatically entered into a drawing for 1 of 4 gift certificates.  We had a great response and we send our congratulations to our drawing winners:  Kevin L. from Sandwich, MA, Rebecca I. from North Providence, RI, Stewart R. from Salem, NH and William P. from Bridgeport, CT.

NECCS participates in the Boston Health Expo

June 2010:  NECCS hosted a booth at the '7 News, CW 56 & Partner's Health & Fitness Expo 2010' on June 12th and 13th at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. This event included appearances by celebrities and area doctors, fun acitivies for children, free health screenings and healthy cooking tips.

Mrs. Massachusetts International, Jane Marshall, co-hosted our NECCS booth and worked with us as we shared the message of education, advocacy and empowerment for cancer survivors.  We met many survivors and caregivers who shared the experience of their cancer journeys.  We extend a special 'thank you' to Mrs. Massachusetts and to all of the visitors who stopped by our booth!
